A relatively small “César Ritz” Colleges alumni group met in Slovenia on 27 November and vowed to be more active after being dormant for some time. In fact, it was only the second alumni meeting of the Croatian-Slovenian alumni chapter made up of former hospitality students who had studied hospitality in Switzerland.

It was a lovely get-together although unfortunately, some people had to cancel at the last minute while others had to leave early. Our alumnus and Peter's fiancee, Meta Tomaz, was such a one who had to leave early as their one-year-old, Ian, was asking for his mother. The event took place at the Kmecki Hram Inn in Ljubljana where we enjoyed typical Slovene cuisine.

We decided during the meeting that the next event will take place in Zagreb, Croatia in February 2010 when fellow alumnus, Goran Yordanov, the current “César Ritz” Colleges Area Manager, will hold a presentation about the school, an event to which we greatly look forward.
