The first “César Ritz” Colleges Switzerland alumni reunion in Portugal took place at the Ritz Carlton Penha Longa Resort. “César Ritz” Area Manager, Viwan Opanukij, picks up the story.

The event was a great success with everyone having such a fun time catching up. The venue was chosen as several former students work there as well as some of our current students doing their internships. It was truly the perfect setting as the restaurant overlooks the golf course and we were treated to a sumptuous meal.

As Felipe Ishihama is working in the Food and Beverage LIVE internship management programme, he planned the entire dinner’s menu. We were all so impressed and ate so well. Great job Felipe!

Working also at the Penha Longa is Ricardo Yamao who is at the Front Office while Diane Laing-Meason is starting her second internship in the Rooms Division. Valter Pinteus who is working at the Four Seasons in Lisbon in their ROOTS Management programme, also joined us as did Sandra Chatzakis who will be heading to Langkawi, Malaysia to work at the Sheraton Hotel for her second internship.
